VI.5 - Participation in conducting (leading) the most important research projects or art projects over the last six years
1

Since 2024 - principal investigator

APVV 23-0350 - Consequences of exposure to artificial light at night during pregnancy on physiological parameters and behavioural strategies of rat offspring

2

since 2019 - responsible researcher in cooperating organisation

APVV 18-0174 - Research of circadian potential of facade systems of buildings. This multidisciplinary research is focused on developing circadian photometry based on the action spectrum of suppression of melatonin secretion in human body. Applied research will be concentrated on the design of assessment methods for circadian potential of facade systems of buildings and shading devices, which will be verified by medical and technical methods in real internal spaces, in scaled model rooms under realistic conditions of dynamic light climate, and generalized by computer simulations.

3

Since 2018 - coresearcher

APVV 17-0178 - Impact of circadian disruption induced by artificial light at night on physiological and behavioural processes. Principal Investigator: Prof. Michal Zeman, Mechanisms how disturbed circadian rhythms may lead to the development of these diseases are not sufficiently understood. Therefore, in our project, we will analyze the impact of artificial light at night on circadian rhythms in the cardiovascular system and its sensitivity to stress, activity of the immune system, metabolism and behavior.
