VEGA 1/0404/19 - Identifikácia adaptačných mechanizmov u kliešťa Ixodes ricinus počas cicania na úrovni individuálnych orgánov a identifikácia nových biomarkerov využiteľných pri príprave vakcín proti zoonózam prenášaných kliešťom Ixodes ricinus - VEGA - 2019-2022 (vedúci projektu) . Pre pochopenie podstaty epigenetických mechanizmov kliešťa je nevyhnutná analýza génovej expresie kódujúcich RNA, ale aj malých regulačných RNA. Naša štúdia sa preto sústredí na vytvorenie referenčného transkriptómu kódujúcich RNA a identifikáciu malých RNA, ako aj analýzu transkriptómu jednotlivých orgánov kliešťov pomocou masívne-paralelného sekvenovania, ktoré budú využité ako základ pre ďalšie epigenetické štúdie kliešťa ako modelového organizmu pri vývine vakcín.

APVV-17-0099 - Ovplyvnenie črevnej mikrobioty telesným pohybom a stravou v zdravej populácii a u pacientov s neprenosnými chronickými ochoreniami – APVV - 2018-2022 (zodpovedný riešiteľ za PriFUK) Cieľom predkladaného projektu je charakterizovať črevnú mikrobiotu na jednotlivých taxonomických úrovniach v zdravej bežnej populácii, v skupine seniorov, v populácii športovcov a u pacientov s neprenosnými chronickými ochoreniami. Projekt je zároveň zameraný na modifikáciu črevnej mikrobioty telesným pohybom, stravou a zistiť vplyv týchto zmien na zdravotný stav seniorov a pacientov s neprenosnými chronickými ochoreniami.

APVV-16-0411 - Faktory vedúce k druhovej rozmanitosti ektoparazitov APVV-2017-2021 (člen RK) Hlavným cieľom modernej ekológie je hľadanie faktorov ovplyvňujúcich rozmanitosť druhov a jej priestorovú

premenlivosť.

APVV-14-0327 - Identifikácia nových biomarkerov a alternatívnych prístupov k analýze nádorovej DNA využiteľných v diagnostike a prognostike rakoviny prsníka – APVV - 2015-2018 (člen RK) Cieľom projektu bola identifikácia nových biomarkerových molekúl v biologickom materiály pacientiek pre účely včasnej diagnostiky rakoviny prsníka. Cieľom bol multidisciplinárny prístup reprezentovaný kombináciou mutačných MPS analýz (normálneho a nádorového tkaniva), analýz zmien expresie RNA a analýz patologicko-anatomických zmien v nádorovom tkanive. Jedným z cieľov bol aj skríning nádorovej DNA reprezentovanej analýzou cirkulujúcich nádorových DNA (ctDNA) pomocou neinvazívnych metód.

APVV-14-0400 - Využitie sekvenovania novej generácie pre analýzu virómu medicínsky a hospodársky významných organizmov APVV- 2015-2018 (člen RK) Cieľom predkladaného projektu bola optimalizácia metód NGS a následného bioinformatického spracovania získaných dát pre analýzu vírusových genómov priamo vo vzorkách prirodzených hostiteľských organizmov ako aj aplikácia optimalizovaných metód pre identifikáciu nových alebo novo sa objavujúcich vírusov, ako aj podrobná molekulárna charakterizácia populácie prítomných vírusov - virómu – vybraných modelových medicínsky a hospodársky významných hostiteľov, akými sú drobné cicavce a poľnohospodárske rastliny.
