Digitálna transformácia vzdelávania a školy. Národný projekt, OP: Program Slovensko, PO: 4P2 Kvalitné a inkluzívne vzdelávanie, kód ITMS2014+: 401402DVR6. Doba riešenia: 2023 – 2028. Gestor projektu za Univerzitu Komenského v Bratislave a riaditeľ Národného centra pre digitálnu transformáciu vzdelávania: doc. RNDr. Štefan Karolčík, PhD. Cieľ projektu: Na základe výskumu priamo na školách a relevantných dát vytvoriť trvalo udržateľný systém podpory digitálnej transformácie vzdelávania zriadením „Národného centra pre digitálnu transformáciu vzdelávania“ v akademickom prostredí s dvoma pracoviskami v Košiciach na UPJŠ a v Bratislave na UK, so zapojením expertov z ďalších VŠ, NIVaM a praxe.“

Projekt KEGA č. 086UK-4/2024 - Školský dvor ako priestor pre žiacke prírodovedné bádanie a skúmanie s podporou mobilných technológií. Doba riešenia: 2024 – 2026. Vedúci projektu: doc. RNDr. Štefan Karolčík, PhD. Cieľom projektu je vytvoriť didaktický manuál pre učiteľov k obsahu kurikulárnych dokumentov platných pre ISCED 2 s príkladmi využitia mobilných technológií a inovácie metód a foriem vzdelávania s dôrazom na výskumnú prácu žiakov v bezprostrednom okolí školy, rozvíjanie spôsobilostí vedeckej práce žiakov, poskytovanie príležitostí pre učenie sa v súvislostiach, podnecovanie záujmu a zvýšenie motivácie žiakov a rozvíjanie tímovej práce (sociálny rozvoj žiakov)

The aim of the project is to create a model of education and training of young people for the current and future needs of the knowledge society and the labour market with the focus on informatics and ICT.

Projekt KEGA č. 015UMB-4/2018 - Interaktívne digitálne učebnice predmetu Geografia pre základné školy. Doba riešenia: 2018 – 2020. Zodpovedný riešiteľ za Univerzitu Komenského v Bratislave, Prírodovedecká fakulta. Cieľ projektu: Vytvoriť a overiť v praxi elektronické učebné materiály v súlade s inovovaným ŠVP pre predmet geografia na základných školách na báze klient-server technológií a vypracovať príslušné metodické pokyny na ich použitie.

Projekt SK-NIC - Stanem sa učiTeľom. Doba riešenia: 2020-2022. Zodpovedný riešiteľ za Prírodovedecku fakultu Univerzitu Komenského v Bratislave. Cieľom projektu je inovácia pregraduálnej prípravy budúcich učiteľov prostredníctvom vytvorenia databázy videozáznamov vyučovacích hodín a ich spracovanie do podoby edukačných videoukážok. Vo finálnej fáze projektu poskytnúť vysokoškolským učiteľom a študentom učiteľstva didaktické a metodické usmernenia pre prácu s videozáznamami a videoukážkami.
