The present bilateral project between Bulgaria and Slovakia is aimed at studying the genetic diversity and ecogeographical genetic differentiation of the populations of three endangered orchid species- Epipactis microphylla, Limodorum abortivum and Orchis militaris in the Bulgarian and Slovak flora using DNA barcoding and retrotransposon-based markers.
