Interaction of surface and groundwater and use of groundwater for water water types of heat pumps in urbanized area of Bratislava, VEGA 1/0871/17, 2017-2020, Deputy Principal Investigator.
The main result of the project was the analysis of the chemical composition of thermal utilize groundwater for water-water types of heat pumps, calculation of chemical equilibria in relation to water temperature change, calculation of saturation indices by using hydrogeochemical modelling and evaluation of aggressive properties of groundwater.
The new method of rock environment thermal response, VEGA 1/0302/21, 2021-2024, Deputy Principal Investigator.
The main goal of the project is the new methodic creation for performing of thermal response test (TRT), which will be usable for aquifer with flowing groundwater. This new method will be financially less demanding and more time-saving as current TRT method. With help of the new methods it will be possible to determine thermal parameters of aquifer, which are needed e.g. for projecting of the water-water heat pump system.
Complex model of the W-Mo deposti Ochtiná-Rochovce and environmentally acceptable possibilities of its exploitation, APVV-22-0134, 2023-2027, Participant.
The project deals with a unique, economically usable accumulation of tungsten in Slovakia, which is also important from the point of view of the entire of the European Union. The project will generate a new geological-structural-genetical model of the W-Mo deposit, wich will allow a more rational and efficient search for mineralized structures. The prevention of the negative impact of mining activities on the environment will also be addressed.
Hydrogeochemical research of karst waters, ice and moonmilk in selected caves in Slovakia, VEGA 1/0416/25, 2025-2028, Principal Investigator.
The aim of the project is to gain new knowledge about the formation of the chemical composition of karst waters, as well as moonmilk and their participation in the morphogenesis of these formations. The ambition of the project is also to gain knowledge about the colonization of ice formations of our caves, because the knowledge of their microbiota is absent. The obtained results will expand the knowledge of caves in terms of its water component, which is one of the basic components of the cave system.
Modern textbook of geology for primary and secondary education of students in terms of the new curriculum for teaching science subjects, KEGA č. 051UK-4/2023, 2023-2025, Participant.
The project will result in the preparation of an ideologically new type of teaching texts in geology for elementary school in accordance with the planned reform of the school curriculum, for 1, 2, and 3 elementary school cycles. Support for teachers and students through worksheets and methodological sheets and an interactive e-learning section, accompanying their science education in the field of geology during the three cycles of basic education.
