VEGA 1/0097/19: Opera medica Thurociensia et Trenchiensia. Choroby a ich terapia v jazykovom a medicínskom kontexte 17. storočia.

VEGA 1/0067/25: The strength of the position of the profession from the perspective of a nurse and a midwife. Reasons and determinants of the negative trend of the shortage of the profession in the health system.

The main objective of the research project is to assess the perception of the current position of the professions of nurses and midwives in Slovakia, as well as in a broader socio-historical context, and to determine their professional quality of life.

The secondary objective of the submitted project is the ambition to connect the socio-historical and current context in which the profession of midwifery developed and was formed within our area. The obtained results and conclusions of the project will be presented both in the form of a book-based scientific monograph and also in scientific and professional articles in domestic and foreign academic journals.
