Professional focus

She created, guarantees, leads, and teaches courses World Religions 1-3 and Primitive and Ancient Religions 1-2 at the University of the Third Age of the Comenius University in Bratislava. She also involved excellent students who are from her scientific school and work at various faculties at Comenius University in teaching at the UTV UK as lecturers in her courses.   She provides pedagogical process at the bachelor's and master's degrees of study program. She participates in the development of the study program through pedagogical activities, leading lectures, seminars and professional excursions, as well as through scientific and organizational activities, co-creates the study program according to accreditation criteria and at the 1st and 2nd level of study, is responsible for fulfilling the content of the study program in accordance with the description of the study field, forms subject information sheets and syllabi. Supervises and assesses final bachelor's, diploma, dissertation, rigorous theses, monographs, university textbooks, edited books, articles, etc.

She cooperates with numerous educational, cultural, and social institutions at home and abroad.   She actively and popularly presents her scientific knowledge and research conclusions to the public.

She regularly participates in various IT trainings provided by CIT UK or a particular faculty.   She assesses KEGA, VEGA and APVV projects. In 2016 – 2019 she was a member of Commission No. 4 of the Cultural and Educational Grant Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic (KEGA). She is a member of many examination committees and an opponent of finals, especially PhD. theses at university workplaces throughout Slovakia.   She is a member of the scientific and organizational committees of conferences at home and abroad.   She actively participated in 57 scientific conferences, of which 28 were foreign in a foreign language.

She reviews monographs, university textbooks and scripts.   She is a member of several editorial boards of journals at home and abroad; she is also a reviewer of articles aspiring to be published in domestic or foreign journals.   She is being invited to professional radio broadcasts as a single guest or participating in a discussion.

Academic Awards • Academic Award of the Rector of the Comenius University for the successful representation of the Comenius University and exemplary performance of study duties in 2001 on the occasion of the Student Day. • Comenius University Rector's Award in 2002 for exemplary fulfillment of study obligations at the university. • 1st prize at the II. year of the Czech-Slovak competition for the best student essay on the ecological theme of a sustainable way of life, held under the auspices of the Regional Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bratislava and the Thematic Group EcoForum: Values for a sustainable future; in 2003. • Comenius University Rector's Award for pedagogical activity in 2005. • Ľudovít Šenšel Award for contribution to the creation of evangelical religious education textbooks according to the new curriculum, which became the first integrated teaching material in this area in the modern history of Slovakia in 2014. • Award of Adamas University Kolkata, India, for academic contribution to society, in 2020. Awarded with an honor to deliver an invited lecture on the celebration of the International Day of Older People at the UN and the Committee on Ageing, Vienna, 03/10/2022. Scholarship recipient during university studies Based on her excellent academic results, she was a scholarship recipient of the Lutheran World Federation in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as of the Office for Slovaks Living Abroad in Bratislava, Slovakia. Appointed as a Professor On March 26, 2024, she was appointed by the President of the Slovak Republic, Zuzana Čaputová.
