VEGA 1/0864/18 Ad Fontes Cynicorum Socraticorum - pramene a interpretácia sokratovského kynizmu. (Ad Fontes Cynicorum Socraticorum - Sources and Interpretation of Socratic Cynism.) VEGA 1/0864/18, 2018-2020, ľ (chief researcher ). The subject of the research project is the historical and philosophical reflection of the Socratic school of thought of ancient cynics. The specificity of the project is the application of the classical „ad fontes“ principle, complemented by the addition of the existing source base in the Slovak language and by interpretations of the newly created source bases in the form of scientific editions of other figures (Crates, Hipparchia, etc.) and interpretative works. The project focuses on the history of cynic ideas and proves that there was a strong non-Platonic tradition inspiring historical as well as present philosophical thought.) Aristippos a sokratika (Aristippus and the Socratic Movement) VEGA 1/0094/20, 2000-2022, scientific co-worker. The main aim of the project is to interpret Aristippus and the Cyrenaic school as the movement related to two ancient traditions: Socratic ethics and Greek skepticism. During the solution of the project, we are translating all preserved testimonies and doxographical evidences concerning Aristippus. The fragments are being accompanied by extensive commentaries.
Sto rokov klasických štúdií na Univerzite Komenského v Bratislave (100 years of Classical Studies at Comenius University in Bratislava), VEGA 1/0210/22, 2022 – 2025, scientific co-worker in the years 2024 - 2025, The aim of the project was to map and critically reflect on the history of classical philological research and related borderline disciplines (history, philosophy, linguistics, the history of Roman law, and biblical studies) at Comenius University in Bratislava as well as in the broader Slovak context. The major outcomes of the project included the publication of the Dictionary of Classical Philologists in Slovakia (2025) and the scholarly volume Scripta minora ad studia classica pertinentia, which historically document and critically evaluate the scholarly production in this field.

Miesto megarikov v sokratovskom hnutí (The place of Megarians in the Socratic Movement), 2023 - 2025, VEGA 1/0031/23, scientific co-worker, The main aim of the project is a complete translation of the fragments of Megarians and the interpretation of the basic themes they bring to the Socratic movement. The next goal is to expand our knowledge of the Socratic movement, which includes other personalities of the first-generation Socratics. One of the direct followers of Socrates Euclid of Megara founded the Megarian School. The Megarian line connects the Socratic search for the good life with the Eleatic tradition, because it considers the goal of life to be the Good. We plan to translate all preserved testimonies and doxographic reports about Euclid and his followers. The translations will be accompanied by an extensive commentary. At the same time, we plan to publish individual papers that will deal with the main topics related to the Megarians, as well as with the overall character of the Socratic movement. The project builds on previous editions of translations of Socratic authors.
