VEGA project no. 1/0051/14. Translation, cultural hybridity and plurilingualism in the context of Hungarian literary study and linguistics. Linguistic ideologies affect all types of metalanguage and linguistic activities, including interlingual or intralingual translation. On the one hand, they can determine the language behavior of the language user and thus also influence language changes; on the other hand, they can determine the ways in which the language is spoken or thinks.
