Project title: GAME Games and Active learning Methods in Education. Grant scheme:: Erasmus+, 2021-1-NO01-KA220-HED-000029899; Years of implementation: 2022 - 2025,
Partners: UNIVERSITETET I AGDER Nórsko + PHILIPPS UNIVERSITAET MARBURG Nemecko
We work on creating physical, digital and blended learning games which train the players in logical thinking, problem solving, and cooperation and at the same time let them become acquainted with the physical space on campus and the different support services the university offers. The resulting series of game quests should help our first-year students become members of the academic learning community quicker while leaving no one behind.

Project title: Will we recover from the Covid19 pandemic? - the social, economic and legal perspectives of the pandemic crisis. Grant scheme: APVV PP-COVID-20-0026, Years of implementation: 2020-2021
The project focuses on research into the economic, social and legal aspects of a pandemic. During it, the behavior of companies and individuals changed, and so did the organization of life. Given the pace and uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, social scientists have had almost no time to provide fact-based results, and therefore no policy recommendations. Thus, policymakers relied largely on their best judgment when taking measures to mitigate the effects of the corona crisis. What impact, whether positive or negative, have these policies had? Part of the project will also focus on research on how information (the threat of disinformation) has affected the response to the pandemic, how we can learn from it and how to mitigate its negative effects.

Project title: Capturing mechanisms and presentation of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) with emphasis on new media use. Grant scheme: APVV SK-PT-18-0011 Years of implementation: 2019-2021
The project focuses on the transfer of pragmatic knowledge as part of the intangible cultural heritage of the ICH. The general subject of research is the effectiveness of the mechanisms of knowledge transfer associated with ICH and its distribution through new media in the context of global society. The positive effect of this research lies in the transformation of the static approach to ICH to a more dynamic one, focused not only on documenting ICH, but mainly on the mechanisms of ICH transmission and increasing its availability through communication channels most often used by the young generation.
Position: researcher: Responsible for designing a general knowledge model of ICH.

Project title: TAVES - Public Administration Press Agency, Grant scheme: Effective Public Administration Operational Programme, ITMS 314011Q469, Years of implementation: 2019-2021
The project concerns communication between the subjects of Public Administration (PA), on the one hand, legal entities and citizens who are recipients of PA services, on the other hand. The purpose of this project is to deal with this communication, analyze it, propose its systemic improvement, reflect these proposals in the documents of the Public Administration and put them into real, sustainable practice. The driving force of this process should be the involvement of non-profit NGOs in it so that a functional partnership of PA - NGO - beneficiaries, working to streamline communication between target groups. A project with this focus is planned in the Žilina region. The project responds to several identified problems - the concept of communication is absent at the regional level, there is no partnership approach in finding solutions, target groups are not involved in the creation of conceptual materials, no suitable form of communication is used. The project will be implemented through one main activity: the creation of TAVES - a public administration press agency.
Position: expert - analyst, evaluator. One of the two creators of the document Analysis and evaluation of the state of communication with a focus on changes in the ecosystem of local media and public administration entities.
