I was a referee of one PhD thesis (Bratislava), 20 bachelor and master theses (Bonn). I am a regular referee of for various scientific journals as well as for the Zentralblatt fuer Mathematik. In the years 2005-2006, during my stay in Muenster, I organized the seminar as well as a yearly weekend Minisymposium for PhD students of the Graduiertenkolleg Analytische Topologie und Metageometrie. June 2012: Oberwolfach workshop Surgery theory: organizer together with Diarmuid Crowley and Andrew Ranicki (6 own lectures). August 2013: Summer school in Bonn Topology of high-dimensional manifolds: organizer together with Diarmuid Crowley and Wolfgang Lück (4 own lectures). In the years 2014-2016 while at University in Bonn, I organized Oberseminar Topologie. In Münster Bonn and Bratislava (also in collaboration with Masaryk University in Brno) I organized several scientific seminars, at which I also gave my own lectures. Between 2020 and 2024 I was the head of the Division of algebra and number theory of the Department of Algebra and Geometry of FMFI UK, since 2024 I have been the head of that Department. Since 2023 I have been an editor of the journal Mathematica Slovaca. In 2025 I was the head of the organizing committee of the CZ-SK round of the competition SVOC in mathematics and informatics at FMFI UK.
