Projekt je zameraný na vytvorenie nového modelu prítoku meteoroidných častíc do atmosféry Zeme vrátane častíc umelého pôvodu na základe sytematického monitorovania meteorickej aktivity zo severnej aj južnej hemisféry. Zodpovedný riešiteľ. / APVV-0517-12: Model of meteoroid population in the close vicinity of the Earth. The project is focused on the creation if a new model of meteoroid particles flux into Earth’s atmosphere, including orbital debris particles, based on observationa of meteor activity from both North and South hemispheres. principal investigator.

Systematické monitorovanie aktivity meteorickej populácie vlastnou technikou so zámermi potvrdiť aktivitu meteorických rojov z pracovného zoznamu medzinárodnej meteorickej databázy IAU Meteor Data Center, nájsť prípadné nové meteorické roje a analyzovať jemnú štruktúru vybraných meteorických prúdov so zreteľom na ich dynamický vývoj a fyzikálne charakteristiky a jej súvis s ich genézou a vekom. Systematically monitor the activity of the meteoroid population using our own observational techniques, to discover new meteor streams and confirm the activity of those included in the working list of the IAU Meteor Data Center, and to find a faint structure of selected meteor streams, focusing on their dynamic evolution and physical characteristics, and their association with genetic issues and their age.
