Strengthening the digital transformation of Slovak industry, Ministry of economy and Ministry of transport SR
This project supported the digital transformation of Slovak manufacturing by promoting the adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies. Led by the Industrial Innovation Cluster, it focused on building digital skills, fostering collaboration between businesses and research institutions, and implementing practical digital solutions such as automation, IoT, and AI. The project contributed to increasing the competitiveness and innovation capacity of Slovak industry and aligned with national digital strategy goals.
DevelopDataExchange (DDE), Interreg Danube region
The project "DevelopDataExchange" is of paramount importance for the sustainable development and prosperity of the Danube Region. It addresses the pressing need for efficient absorption of EU funds, which presents a significant opportunity for the region to tackle challenges, drive innovation, and foster economic growth. However, achieving optimal absorption entails overcoming various barriers and ensuring that funds are utilized efficiently and effectively. The projects will focus on 3 topics in different sectors.
Digital Transformation of SMEs II, EIT Manufacturing
The goal of FactoRIS II was to further support the case-specific digital transformation of RIS based SMEs by evolving existing production facilities towards Industry 4.0. This was achieved by developing and networking established learning factories, providing modular testbed demonstrators for acute and real manufacturing problems. Key enabling technologies were IIoT, edge computing, data collection and evaluation in cloud.
EASTGATEH2V, HE
EastGate H2V will position Košice (Slovakia) at the forefront of hydrogen innovation, integrating production, infrastructure, and mobilities into a cutting-edge regional ecosystem. It showcases cross-sector decarbonization, international collaboration, public engagement, and replicability—marking a crucial milestone in Europe’s energy transition journey.Hydrogen valley. We bring data spaces and data sharing knowledge in this project.
ReBuilt, Interreg Central Europe
ReBuilt is an Interreg Central Europe project (2023–2026) aimed at transforming the construction and building sector through circular economy principles and digital innovation. Coordinated by the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG), the project involves 13 partners from Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and 6 associated partners and is focusing on Digital producto Passport in construction sector, thanks data spaces and data sharing, too.

The European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) is a legal framework aiding Member States to set up and implement multi-country projects. European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) is an instrument made available to Member States under the Digital Decade Policy Programme 2030 to speed up and simplify the setup and implementation of multi-country projects. EDICs will enable the achievement of the Digital Decade general objectives and targets.
Human Centric Preference based Optimization (HCPbO), EIT Manufacturing
HCPbO offers an innovative, intuitive optimization platform that empowers manufacturing professionals to improve complex processes using human preferences. Tested in real industrial environments, it provides a scalable and practical solution for SMEs aiming for smarter, data-efficient production.
Do It Together over Europe (DIT-EU), EIT Manufacturing
Do It Together over Europe equips industry players and end-users with the tools and knowledge for collaborative, digital, and eco-friendly manufacturing. It leverages experiential training and real-world demonstrators to accelerate the shift toward creative, local‑centric circular production models across Europe.
DEPLOYTOUR, DEP
DEPLOYTOUR is a European Union co-funded project launched in October 2024 under the Digital Europe Programme.With a budget of €15.3 million, the initiative aims to establish a trusted and secure Common European Tourism Data Space (ETDS) to enhance the competitiveness, sustainability, and resilience of the tourism sector across Europe.
