               <p>Final assessment: an oral examination focused on the basic theoretical and practical issues of private law, including civil law, commercial and corporate law, competition rules, and private international law, as well as the preparation of a model case and an oral discussion of it (100%)</p>
               <p>Grading scale: A/1 = 91–100%; B/1.5 = 81–90%; C/2 = 73–80%; D/2.5 = 66–72%; E/3 = 60–65%; FX = 0–59%.</p>
               <p>During the examination, the student may use all available sources of legal information, in particular statutory provisions without commentary, commentaries, case law, legal literature, and legal information systems.</p>

               <p>Knowledge: The student has advanced knowledge in the area of the principles and fundamentals of private law, including civil law, private international law, the private-law aspects of European law, and international and European labour law and social security law.</p>
               <p>Skills: The student is able to summarize knowledge of complex institutions of private law in general, corporate law, private international law, the private-law aspects of European law, and international and European labour law and social security law, and is able to present them in their interrelationships.</p>
               <p>Responsibility and autonomy: The student is able to solve a case study focused on the field of private law in the international and European legal area, while the assignment may be formulated in an indefinite manner and may require providing alternative solutions or require a solution from a legally and ethically preferred perspective.</p>
               <p>To pass each state examination (part/subject of the state examination), the student must also demonstrate that:</p>
               <p>1. they are able to apply their knowledge and understanding, as well as their ability to solve problems creatively, in new or unfamiliar environments and in broader contexts related to their field of study;</p>

               <p>To obtain updated knowledge from the applied methodology of thesis processing. Be able to analyze and synthesize knowledge from consultations, instructions and practical procedures for processing the assigned task (thesis topic). Be able to formulate and solve more complex problems related to solving the assigned task.</p>
               <p>The diploma thesis must be structured in such a way that, through its preparation and defense, the student demonstrates that</p>
               <p>1. has the ability to integrate knowledge, manage complexity, and formulate decisions based on incomplete or limited information, while also taking into account the social and ethical responsibilities associated with the application of their knowledge and decisions,</p>
               <p>2. they can clearly and unambiguously communicate their conclusions, findings, and reasoning to both experts and lay audiences.</p>
               <p>In the diploma thesis, the student develops a selected topic in the field of legal studies, with particular focus on international law and European Union law, at the level of a scholarly study, based on a representative selection of specialist literature, appropriately chosen research methods, and verifiable hypotheses; at the same time, the diploma thesis should make a contribution to the specific field concerned.</p>
               <p>The student is able to present the results of their work during the defense and can respond, at an appropriate professional level, to the evaluations of the thesis supervisor and the opponent.</p>
